Blind Cleaning is a specialty add-on for homes with blinds needing a slat-by-slat wet clean beyond the duster pass in Deep Cleaning. Handles horizontal blinds (wood, faux wood, aluminum, vinyl), vertical blinds, cellular shades, and Roman shades in place — no takedown or reinstallation. Homes across Conroe, The Woodlands, Spring, and North Houston. Material-appropriate cleaners: wood-safe damp microfiber, gentle cleaner for aluminum and vinyl. We clean all common blind types: horizontal blinds (wood, faux wood, aluminum, vinyl), vertical blinds, cellular/honeycomb shades, and roman shades. If you have a unique blind type, let us know when you book and we'll confirm we can handle it.
02Do you take the blinds down to clean them?
No — we clean all blinds in place, which is faster and eliminates the risk of damage from removal and reinstallation. For exceptionally dirty blinds, we may recommend a soak-and-clean service where blinds are removed, but this is rare.
03How long does blind cleaning take?
Time depends on the number of windows. For a typical home under 2,100 sqft (8-12 windows), blind cleaning takes about 1-1.5 hours. Larger homes take proportionally longer. We'll give you a time estimate when you book.

SparkTex does not organize, fold, or pick up clothing or personal items. Please ensure floors and surfaces are clear before our arrival.

Please leave fresh linens out if beds should be changed. If linens are not set out, beds will be left as-is (we do not open storage to retrieve linens).

Window safety
We do not clean windows above 8 feet in height. Only windows safely accessible from ground level.

Pre-existing damage
Stains, paint chips, wear, and damage present before our arrival are not our responsibility. Photo documentation may be taken.

Heavy furniture
Team does not move items over 40 lbs. Cleaning is performed around stationary furniture.

Pet hair
Light pet hair removal included. Heavy shedding from multiple pets may require a separate pet hair removal service or additional time.

Repair and maintenance
Light bulb replacement, appliance/hardware repair, electrical/plumbing work are NOT part of cleaning service.

Blood, bodily fluids, and other biohazardous material require specialty remediation (not offered by SparkTex).
